Glory Sushi (formerly Kingfisher) – Sushi that actually lives up to its name If you’re looking for a place that delivers sushi fresh enough to make you forget you’re not oceanfront, this is it. Glory Sushi is glorious—no exaggeration. I bring every sushi-lover I know here. It’s my go-to test to see if someone really gets good sushi. This time we branched out with two new rolls: • Red Dragon Roll – spicy, rich, and beautifully balanced. • Crunchy Mango Roll – sweet, crisp, and totally addictive (just look at it!). Our usuals? Spicy Cali, Dynamite, and their mango roll. Always fresh, always a hit. And before you start hating, I’m from the other coast—you know, the one The Beach Boys didn’t sing about. #GoGators Bonus points for the kindness: my five-year-old daughter was on a mission to pick every piece of avocado out of our rolls (you know the vibe). The staff didn’t blink—they brought her a simple plate of rice and sliced avocado. Sweetest thing. Praise them.

This was an unexpected surprise! We just happened to pop in because we were visiting one of the neighboring shops and had a hankering for sushi. Grabbed a small to-go order (combo A) and were rewarded with a surprisingly big portion (the nigiri pieces are chonky!). Salmon is my favorite and it was so fresh and buttery- just absolutely delighted to find this hidden gem!

Wow. I’m impressed! Happened to read about this place. Not a drive by, but a destination sushi place. Hard to find with just a low-key sign on the door. Simple decor. The sushi is very reasonably priced and tasted fresh. Service was excellent and sushi orders come up very quickly.

We love this place, it is our go-to sushi spot in Boise! We were a little worried when it changed names but the sushi seems even fresher and the portions are always great! The service is always wonderful too.

So happy to have discovered Kingfisher Sushi recently. The selection of food is excellent, friendly service and excellent prices. The various platters are a great deal. The other night three of us split a 30 platter and it was plenty of food. The inside seating isn't huge and can be loud but there's a few tables outside, which is nice. The picnic tables inside have been replaced, which allows for more space. This is an excellent spot for sushi if you live in Eagle, Garden City or NW Boise.

This is THE new sushi spot in town you NEED to try! I ordered takeout via phone and the gentleman who took my order was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke very clearly - which I greatly appreciated. We ordered 4 rolls and it only took 15 minutes for our order on a Friday evening! The actual restaurant is in a small hole-in-the-wall spot off Eagle Road with picnic tables for seating, so don't go here expecting a fancy upscale sushi bar. I personally love the limited seating, as I feel it gives the chef enough time to produce fresh, extremely high quality sushi for each customer. My boyfriend and I have a very high bar for sushi, and this place passes with flying colors! Everything was fresh and artfully crafted, and the to-go packaging was secure so all of the rolls looked perfect when we got home. The pick-up process was easy and we didn't have to wait in line which was awesome. The same guy who took my order grabbed my takeout, and he was just as nice in person as he was over the phone! I really enjoyed the variety of flavors in each roll, and they actually withstood being dipped in soy sauce without falling apart. My personal favorite was the Crunchy California Roll, and I also highly recommend the Philly, Mango, Dynamite, and Dragon rolls. Overall, it was a fantastic first time experience and we can't wait to return soon! *UPDATE - November 2022: Went back recently to dine-in and it was just as great as last time! AND they've added beautiful artwork to the walls, which really adds to the lovely ambiance.
